18000km from home

Currently in Paihia in the Bay of Islands in the north of New Zealand. Unfortunately I have to tell you *again* that the weather is hot and sunny and I have a hard time choosing my daily activities. These include:
- Swimming in the pacific
- Surfing the pacific (will do a surf course tomorrow or the day after)
- Wine Tasting (reds and whites)
- Eating (Fish&Chips, BBQ chicken, etc.)
- Fishing (maybe tomorrow)

I'm going up further north the next days and down to wellington on saturday to meet up with Carina, the girl I've met before. Together we're travelling the South Island from Monday on, for the next couple of weeks.
Now, time for dinner and an ice cold Steini (the local kiwi beer 'Steinlager')

Momentan bin ich noch in Paihia in der Bay Of Islands im Norden Neuseelands. Leider muss ich euch mitteilen, dass schon *wieder* sonniges und warmes Wetter herrscht und ich jeden Tag von neuem entscheiden muss, was ich unternehmen soll. Zur Auswahl stehen:
- Schwimmen im Pazifik
- Surfen im Pazifik (ich wollte morgen oder uebermorgen ein paar Surfstunden nehmen - also Wellenreiten, mal sehen obs klappt)
- Wine Tasting (Weiss- und Rotweine)
- Essen (Fish & Chips, BBQ Chicken etc)
- Hochseeangeln (evtl. morgen)

In den naechsten Tagen gehts noch weiter noerdlich und dann am Samstag runter nach Wellington, wo ich mich mit Carina treffe, die ich schon vorher getroffen habe. Zusammen wollen wir ab Montag fuer die naechsten paar Wochen die Suedinsel erkunden.
So, jetzt gibts erstmal Dinner und ein leckeres kaltes Bier (Steini - oder Steinlager, das lokale Kiwi Bier)
