Friday 02 Mar - Walk up the Duke's Nose

I think this is Taupo Bay. It's a nice 2-3 hour walk, just the last bit was a bit tough - I had to climb a very VERY steep wall for about 20m. There was a chain that helped, but still scary enough. The reward was excellent.

Ich glaube dies ist Taupo Bay. Der Walk dahin dauerte ca. 2-3 Stunden und war schoen und einfach. Nur das letzte Stueck war hart: es ging an einer Steilwand ca. 20m hoch, und zwar SEHR steil - wo allerdings zur Hilfe noch eine Kette hing. Trotzdem sehr angsteinfloessend. Aber es hat sich sehr gelohnt und der Ausblick war umwerfend.
